Verbier is famous throughout the world for its challenging slopes and legendary après ski and rightly so. Annually the “Verbier Ride” an IFSA Freeskiing World Tour event and the “O’neil Xtreme Freeride” event come to town. However, this does not mean that this area is the preserve of cliff jumping Lemmings. No, in fact the majority of skiing throughout the area is graded intermediate with a substantial portion also graded easy.
The ski area here is expansive with over 400 kilometers of marked runs not to mention the vast sectors of easily accessible off-piste that have made Verbier famous. Also known as the 4 Valleys the ski area takes in the villages of Nendaz, Veysonnaz and Thyon plus a couple of smaller hamlets along the way. Whatever your level the Verbier ski and snowboard area should have something suitable for you.
