Beginner

ski rating

Beginners will find ample nursery areas throughout the valley as each sector has its own gentle slopes that are suitable for first timers. All of the sectors with the exception of Elfer have long gentle blue runs that prove ideal for confidence building.

Intermediate

ski rating

Intermediates are better off sticking to the larger Stubai Glacier, Elfer and Schlick 2000 areas which have a greater amount of suitable terrain. Elfer and Schlick are good retreats in bad weather as the forested slopes provide greater protection from the elements.

Advanced

ski rating

The Stubai region offers advanced riders many an off-piste opportunity. In fact it markets itself as a back country destination while offering specialised courses to would be tourers. Of course being a glaciated region it is vital that you do use the services of a local guide when venturing off-piste.

For freestylers the Schlick 2000 area has a fun park and half pipe conditions permitting.
