La Clusaz is an instructors dream. There are oodles of easy runs on which to quickly build up a fresher’s confidence. The results typically make both instructor and pupil look exceptionally good. Beginners should be flying by the end of a week here.

Intermediates have 220 kilometers of marked piste to play on with the Aravis area lift pass. La Clusaz alone has over fifty intermediate pistes from long confidence and ego boosting blues through the trees to more vertiginous and challenging reds, for those wishing to push their limits that bit further.

Advanced riders will find a few off-piste pleasures here plus some black graded pistes. However, if you want a real taste of adventure your best bet will be to hire a guide. For those prepared to hike a bit hidden treasures lay undiscovered.

The snow park in La Clusaz provides suitable terrain for beginners through to good riders. It comprises of; 1x half pipe (super pipe – 130 meter long), 8x rails, 5x kickers and 2x big airs. The park is served by its’ own lift giving fast and easy access for those who want to spend more time styling.
