Flims, Skiing & Snowboard...

For beginners there is a nursery area in Flims Waldhaus and one beside the gondola station at Flims Dorf. Once the basics have been mastered (nearly) the slopes above Flims offer superb terrain for improvers.

Intermediates will find the Alpenarena is right up their street with virtually the whole are being open to them (even some of the blacks). Flims is ideal for intermediates wanting to learn a few new tricks. Hire an instructor and learn how to ski off-piste on some of the marked ungroomed routes.

For the better rider there is a good choice of marked and unmarked off-piste as well as a reasonable number of pisted runs graded difficult. However some commentators suggest that difficult in one mans language is not so in another mans language.

There are two parks including a half pipe for freestylers.
