Courchevel, Cycling & Mou...

Without having to leave the confines of the mountains above Courchevel mountain bikers have nearly 80 kilometers of downhill trails and roughly 155 kilometers of XC (cross-country) trails on which to play. These include everything from easy free flowing stuff to the technical tooth chattering rocky rides. There’s something for everyone both in downhill and XC.

Beyond the confines of Courchevel, riders exploring further afield in Les 3 Vallees will find a wealth of mountain biking opportunities. One of the areas highlights is the blistering Le 100 Noir, a 117 km mountain bike trail that passes through each of the villages within Les Trois Vallees domain. To be honest though it ain’t that bad as much of the uphill can be done by lift as long as you ride it on a Tuesday or Thursday. Nevertheless it makes for a full and tiring day out with some nerve jangling downhill sections to test the skills of the very best. And of course you can just ride the whole thing. Phew!
